SOLIDARITY Gdańsk August ’80 / original print, 21 x 14,8 cm / 1980 The very first silk-screen imprint of the Solidarity logo, created in August, 1980 The logo was spontaneous and voluntary demonstration of support for the workers´strike then underway st the Lenin Shipyards in Gdansk, Poland. The print is signed by Lech Wałęsa, Anna Walentynowicz, Henryka Krzywonos and somebody from the Interfactory Strike Committee (MKS).
